The Ministry of Industry and Trade is developing a special support program for manufacturers of vehicle components to stimulate the production and export of goods.

This information was announced within the framework of the online conference "Sber Pro" held on June 22, 2020. According to the director of the Automotive Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, without well-thought-out support measures, enterprises will not be able to invest as effectively as before in increasing production capacities. If the issue cannot be resolved, there may be interruptions in the supply of components to automobile plants and service centers, which will entail an aggravation of the economic problems of the industry.

We recall that earlier it became known that the Russian government approved an action plan until 2025, which is going to provide tax benefits to companies producing automotive components (seats, mounts, roof hatches, and other goods) on the territory of the country. The idea of giving grants for complex investment projects is also being worked out.
