The new bus "NEFAZ" is being tested on the test range of the company "KAMAZ"

Diesel semi-low-floor bus NEFAZ-4299-30-52 with six-speed automatic transmission is passing control tests in TRC "KamAZ".At the test range, the vehicle will be tested up to a mileage of 50,000 kilometers. The company is planning to certify the bus in August of this year, and after the fact of the approval to begin mass production.

The middle-class model is developed with all modern requirements for the interior of passenger transport taken into account. It is primarily related to the Accessible Environment (рус. "Доступная среда") program. The bus provides a convenient entrance for wheelchairs thanks to a low floor level and free space for comfortable accommodation of people with disabilities. The vehicle is expected to carry a limited number of passengers - 72 people, including 25 seats.

A huge advantage for transport companies and drivers is an unpretentious Cummins engine with a capacity of 185 hp of ecological class "Euro-5," running on diesel. The length of the new model is only 9 meters, the weight - 8.1 tons.

The prototype of the new semi-low-floor bus was presented for the first time at Comtrans 2019.
