The regulations for different means of transport are going to be tightened in Russia

The new regulations for different means of transport come into force in Russia.

• The import into the country of SSV, minibuses, minivans, and right-hand drive passenger buses (categories M2 and M3) is prohibited. The right-hand drive cars can be registered only after receiving a safety certificate and passing a certification.
  
• After some types of tuning, you will need to undergo advanced technical tests to register your car. Types of tuning that fall under these restrictions: installation of power bumpers, tow bars, gas device system, changing the cabin construction, including the replacement of standard car seats with upgraded versions.
  
• It is mandatory to equip trolleybuses, trams, and buses of categories M2 and M3, which carry out intracity and long-distance transportation, with tachographs. At the same time, a period of deferment is provided depending on the ecological class of the vehicle and the status of the owner.
  

It should be reminded that the requirements for buses were tightened back in June - when passing the tech inspection, the presence of the traffic police inspector became mandatory, and the inspection itself can be carried out only at certain stations.
